Who's Whoo

The birds in our pine tree are very active this time of year and there are many birds in the tree. This is the first year i've noticed dove's (or at least I think they are dove's) and I was told by a neighbor that there are 2 of them. Each morning they can get annoying with all their whooing (not like an owl whoo) but they are not shy and they will sit and pose for a camera shot and I was able to take dozens of pictures... here are a few.

A few weeks ago Connie visited her sister Kelly in Washington. While there she also got to visit with Leesha and Brady. Lee was a great chauffeur and they saw many sites.

Let's go fly a kite!

Even though it was cloudy and cool the gentle breeze seemed to call for the kite. Both Reese and Charley enjoyed holding the kite in position ready for take off. It just wasn't windy enough to sustain the flight so the kids weren't able to hold the string and tug... maybe next time.
