Some serious "fun" climbing

Jesse has taken up a new hobby in rock climbing and spends many hours a week at Momentum climbing the walls and rocks. Our neice Reese likes to climb trees, walls and anything that will get her higher so we thought it would be fun for her to go with Jesse to Momentum to climb the walls and rocks. Jesse likes to practice climbing the rocks without using his feet and Reese got her first experience climbing the wall. It was fun and Reese has a new friend in her cousin Jesse.

Gingerbread Knight time

This years Knight Gingerbread decor was preceeded by a great feast, of course we had a Turkey meal in mind and Connie fixed all the trimmings and then we went to church. After 3+ hours at church we hurried home only to discover we forgot to put the turkey in the oven. Plan #2, we made spaghetti with no trimmings, oh well, we laughed this one off. We invited Matt & Amanda Pace and their cute little family to join us once again for our Gingerbread activity night, so much fun.

Tis the Season! Gingerbread with the young Utley's

Once again we spent an enjoyable time with Aaron, Erika and the girls (Waller's too) and made Gingerbread houses... so much candy!

Quietly Rocking out to Thanksgiving

What a quiet Thanksgiving!!! These are the kind of dinners I enjoy. This year we went to Thanksgiving dinner at Darven & Crystal's. Mom wasn't feeling well so Dad came by himself and also Darven's parents were with us - yep, 10 people in all. After dinner we enjoyed some pool and then played rock band. Dad left right after dinner & Jesse slept for the rest of the day. There was plenty of football to enjoy on the tube and the food was out of this world, Darven makes a awesome sweet potatoe dish - taken from Ruth's Chris Steak House and I will never make a regular Turkey again after having a premium sweetheart turkey breast from Moroni Feed Co. mmmmmmm

Fall is in the air

This weekend we spent some time at the cabin as we may not get many more nice days to enjoy the fall colors, leaves and beauty of the mountains. It was cool on Saturday and all I wanted to do was stay warm and watch John Wayne movies. Sunday morning was depressing as I opened the door.

The Great Pumpkin!

On Friday we took Erika and the girls to get pumpkins from the huge pumpkin patch on 9000 so. 2200 w. It was a perfect day to take pictures and we had a great time.

HOLY ELK!!!

On Tuesday we took our youth group up Butterfield canyon for a view of the valley (did you know on a clear day you can see 7 temples?)... but this was impressive.
