Watching the Girls

This past week we had the opportunity to watch Reese and Charley. I don't remember Jenny and Jesse at that age wearing me out so fast. Kudos to Connie for keeping up with them she was a trooper.

A SPLASH in the Hot Tub
The kids wore me out so fast that I had to rest for 15 more minutes after they got out.

Baking Halloween Cookies.
I think Reese was on a sugar high bouncing off the walls somewhere.

They can't come to Aunt Connie's house without playing dress-ups. It's almost a tradition.

Charley in a wig. She can wear the wig okay but when uncle Neal puts the wig on she "wigs" out.

I think they are ready to go shopping.

We really did have a great time watching the girls and Aaron and Erika had a fun time doing their thing. We are looking forward to that little brother for Reese and Charley.

Greg Olsen's painting of Alexis "Hand in Hand"

Our niece Alexis, Crystal & Darven's daughter, had a special opportunity to be painted by the well known artist Greg Olsen. (www.gregolsenart.com under inspirational). The painting is currently at press. I asked Alexis if she was holding Jesus' hand and she said "NO, it was Mike's hand". (the gentleman who posed as Jesus). funny.

Conference Weekend at the Cabin

This is the only "wildlife" we saw running around the roads this weekend... not really wild!

Here comes the SNOW!!!
Needless to say we didn't leave the cabin much.

A blustery day in September

I just had to take a picture... I wonder how the furniture holds up with SNOW! I'm not ready for this.

This is what I do...

Contrary to popular belief, I do more then play golf... I work. Here is the latest project we are working on with First Utah Bank. It is very satisfying to design these types of projects and to see them through completion. We have been blessed.

More upgrades

We have posted a few pictures of our backyard and the progress we are making. Here are a couple of pictures as we prepare the area for a shed. The grass will hopefully come back by next year.

After 10 hours of Sunday service

Being part of the Bishopric requires many hours especially on Sunday. This is not an uncommon site Sunday afternoon. Connie is very patient with me and lets me rest.
